HELICOBACTER PYLORI RAPID RESULTS SCREEN
HELICOBACTER PYLORI RAPID SCREEN
CAN I GET A HELICOBACTER PYLORI RAPID SCREEN (H. PYLORI) AT ANY LAB TEST NOW?
Yes, you can. However, due to specific state regulations, there are some ANY LAB TEST NOW locations that are unable to offer rapid screening tests.
AM I REQUIRED TO FAST FOR THIS LAB TEST?
Sounds scary doesn’t it? Actually it is. H. pylori (for short) is a bacterium found in your stomach that can cause ulcers, heartburn and even stomach cancer. The reality is you may not know you have it!
This instant test screens for Helicobacter pylori antibodies. If antibodies are present it could indicate a peptic ulcer caused by the H. pylori bacteria.
Indigestion, nausea, belching and a feeling of fullness or bloating are sometimes symptoms of an infection by H. pylori.
WHY DO I NEED TO BE TESTED FOR H. PYLORI?
If all those antacids aren’t working, you may have a stomach bacterium that is causing your heartburn and/or ulcers. If nothing is done, it could lead to stomach cancer.
Find out in less than 10 minutes with the H. Pylori Rapid Result Screen.
